Some of our customers have gotten word that callers from outside of the area and/or cell phone users have had occasional difficulty calling them. What has been an ongoing issue nd one that many rural telephone companies have exhausted efforts troubleshooting internally, has officially been recognized as a widespread concern by both the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) and NECA (National Exchange Carrier Associate) Additionally, customers have experienced issues with fax machine properly transmitting with outgoing faxes to long distance areas.

Customers experiencing issues can file a complaint with the FCC. For the FCC to take action, you must provide the caller's number (the person that tried to call you), the called number (your number), and the date the attempted calls or problem calls were made. If possible, you should also identify the long distance or wireless telephone service provider that serves the caller (i.e., the provider for the person calling you) and provide the time of the calls. To file a complaint, complete this online Form 2000B.
