Telephone Jacks
Telephone jacks are necessary in order to allow dial tone to reach your phone. There are many different styles of jacks available to suit your needs. Telephone jacks are connected to the Network Interface by inside station wire.
Telephone jacks are wired to the inside station wires which are connected to the Network Interface located outside (or inside, depending on the installation) of your home. Nicholville Telephone Company can assist you with installing a jack in your home (See Inside Wiring & Installation). You may also hire a contractor or complete the work yourself.
Models/Features
TypeModular Desk Jack: small jack located near the baseboards in your home. Usually used for a desk phone, fax line & computer. Modular Wall Jack: Rectangular shaped jack mounted on a wall. Your wall phone can easily mounted to a wall jack. Wall in Stall: Large rectangular shaped jack that is also mounted to a wall.
